Hey my dearest, closest, liveliest bunch of 102-lians!

one year zipped without us knowing, and i'm sure all of us have grown. i rmbered our concert prep for orientation, drama night, sport fest(we were all so enthu, gd job!), class decoration and the list goes on. most importantly, i rmbered the times we worked as a TEAM.

yes, during netball carn.at the start i had the mindset to win and the desperateness to treat the ball as Mr ng's face and play the best we can. but near the last few matches, esp the one with 111, i really learnt what it meant to lose TOGETHER. trust me, it's as good as WINNING TOGETHER. and neither did i plagarise HSM, I made the line up, ‘win together, lose together’ myself and i really hope that will be the tagline of 102 and our hearts.no matter which class we will end up in the next few years, i hope you'll always rmb each and EVERYONE of 102 '06 and the moments we've shared together.

not just that, i really hope that we will be a TRUE friend to those who are in need. 'a friend loves at all times' Ms Leong (202 07 CLET). So, i challenge you this day that wherever you go, to promise me that we'll rely on one another and be a TEAM. who knows, we might just meet up someday when we become lao ama and just reminisce the times we had in RGS. well and for all those who feel left out of 102 during the past one year, i sincerely apologies for not including you in. i'm sure i definitely have ALOT to learn as a leader and thinker, and so do ALL of you. everyone, a leader. and another thing. Sec 2 is a year of REFLECTIONS.

BUT, but, i hope you guys will take it seriously and really reflect upon your life. it's like your mini diary and it does help you learn from your mistakes more and what's more, you can have you TEACHER to mentor and teach you. There is not enough time in your life to make all the mistakes you can make. Learn from OTHER people's mistakes, so that you can be a BETTER person, daughter and wife… heeto end this note on a high note XD,you guys must JIA YOU for the next 3 years and always rmb our school song. " WHOLE HEARTED, TRUE, WITH PRIDE AND ARDOUR BURNING" have pride in your work and put in your 101 %.but what's more impt is to stay TRUEE to others and to yourself.

okay. i need to do a lot of apologies.
FIRST. to the whole class. i am terribly sorry for not turning up for the drama rehearsals cause. well. i AM on mc and STILL on mc. therefore, i will be going back on wednesday, so if there anything i can do please tell me! as long as it doesn't require much talking cause i currently have NO voice at all. except to squeal like a pig.
SECOND. to the cheerleading team. i am terribly sorry as well as i won't be cheering on the day itself since i have ZERO voice and NEGATIVE ability to scream so. you have one less LOUDIE to depend on. in fact, i'm not very sure if i can ever scream again due to the worsening condition in the ridiculous virus.
i think i owe the whole class A BIG APOLOGY. for being such a terrible person in such a busy period of time.
lastly, i think the enthuness issue, well, both parties are at fault, the quiet and the more active ones, so yup, seal with a farewell kiss and throw it into my mouth thinking it is a sorethroat medicine that will help CHUAJIEMIN get back her voice.

Inter-Class Netball Carnival Rules 2006

Rules and Regulations

1.1 CENTRE PASS
1.1.1 The Centre in possession of the ball, shall step into the circle, whereby the Umpire’s whistle will be blown.
1.1.2 When the whistle is blown, the ball shall be released within three seconds (Held-Ball Rule) and the player shall not re-ground or displace her landing foot (Footwork Rule).
1.1.3 The Centre Pass shall be caught or touched by any player who:-
(i) is standing in the Centre Third; or
(ii) Has landed wholly within the Centre Third.
1.1.4 No other player may catch or touch the Centre Pass without it having been first touched in the Centre Third.
For infringing 1.1.3 and 1.1.4
1.2.1 A Free Pass shall be awarded to the opposing team, to be taken in the Goal / Defence Third where the ball crossed the transverse line.

2.1 PLAYING THE BALL
2.1.1 A player releasing or losing control of a ball may not Replay or Repossess the ball again.
2.1.2 A player not fully on her feet may not in anyway play the ball while lying, sitting or kneeling on the ground, and must release the ball fully standing.
For infringing 2.1.1 and 2.1.2
2.2.1 A Free Pass shall be awarded to the opposing team where the infringement occurred.

3.1 OBSTRUCTION
3.1.1 A player may not interfere with play of an opponent in possession of the ball, if the distance on the ground between either of her feet and her opponent’s landing foot is less than 3 feet (0.9m).
3.1.2 A player may not deliberately interfere with the movement or play of an opponent not in possession of the ball.
For infringing 3.1.1 and 3.1.2
3.2.1 A Penalty Pass or Penalty Pass/ Shot will be awarded to the non-offending team where the infringement occurred.
3.2.2 The offending player needs to be out-of-play, where the infringement occurred, standing beside the player taking the pass or shot, and not interfering until the ball is released.

4.1 CONTACT
4.1.1 No player may come into contact with an opponent.
4.1.2 No player may come into contact with a ball held by an opponent.

For infringing 4.1.1 and 4.1.2
4.2.1 A Penalty Pass or Penalty Pass/ Shot will be awarded to the non-offending team where the infringement occurred.
4.2.2 The offending player needs to be out-of-play, where the infringement occurred, standing beside the player taking the pass or shot, and not interfering until the ball is released.

4.2 Advantage
4.3.1 Umpires, at their discretion may allow play to continue despite an infringement, if they deem that stopping play to penalize the offending team may in reality penalize the non-offending team due to loss of territorial or tactical advantage.
4.3.2 Other technical infringements that will result in a Free Pass are:
Footwork, Held-Ball, Offside, Breaking, Short Pass, Untouched Over A Third

5.1 CODE OF CONDUCT
5.1.1 Players must not argue with, nor dispute the umpire’s decision.
5.1.2 Players must under any no circumstances use foul language or indulge in name calling.
5.1.3 Players are encouraged to shake hands and apologize for any offence committed in the course of the game.
5.1.4 Teams are encouraged to shake hands before the start of the game and to give three cheers at the conclusion.
5.1.5 Players should play fair and clean games and those who fail to do so will be penalized.

6.1 START OF A GAME
6.1.1 Start of games will be indicated by umpires’ whistles and NOT the siren.
6.1.2 Teams have to be ready on court in their bibs before the siren is sounded.

7.1 GOALS
7.1.1 A goal will only be counted if the ball goes completely over the ring before the end of each game, which is indicated by the umpire’s whistle.
7.1.2 A penalty shot may be taken after the end of a game if the offence was made before the end of the game.

ANY MISBEHAVIOUR AND UNSPORTSMAN-LIKE ACTIONS WILL BE DEALT WITH SERIOUSLY WITH THE DISCRETION OF THE UMPIRES OR TEACHERS. ON ALL MATTERS PERTAINING TO THE NETBALL CARNIVAL, ESPECIALLY WITH REGARD TO DISCIPLINE AND THE RULES, TEACHERS WILL HAVE THE FINAL SAY.

There's a concert this Sunday from 7.30 pm onwards at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts bencoolen street, at the Lee Foundation Theatre. I am performing in a two piano item!

So i would like to ask who is interested in watching it? Because i need to sell 10 tickets since i am part of the concert ><>, and a Mendelssohn 2 piano concerto. There are two other items.
Basically, this concert is purely 2 pianos!
Tickets cost $15 or $20. Ok i know it's a bit ex, but it's not always that you go for concerts right, and moreover you should support a fellow classmate;)

According to the paper, the ics have put a list outside the board at Staffroom @ stamford with a list that we can choose from. please give suggestions on which foreign movie we should adapt actually i was thinking of:
BROTHERHOOD[ i think it was about two brothers protecting the country . the elder brother wanted to protect the younger one climbed to a high post using dirty tricks. alot of people did not like the elder brother even the younger brother didn't but one day the younger brother realise that his elder brother had always wanted to protect him, he regretted but it was too late cause the elder brother was dying.........]

EIGHT HUNDRED HEROES[someone acts as a brave girl guide who helped to bring supplies and hope to the soldiers guarding a building in Shanghai. Her father wanted her to be safe at home but was convinced to let her continue on by the enthusiasm of the scouts and guides. The movie is a patriotic movie and portrays the Chinese struggle against the Japanese. A lot of emphasis on Chinese values and even patriotism is a stronger value than filial piety. Definately a cast of hundreds with the help of the army. The show starts with Lin Ching Hsia swimming in the river to save 2 children and just before the show ends with her swimming across the river back to Chinese territory. Click for the conclusion.
One of those rare shows where both Lin Ching Hsia and Chin Han act in the same movie but never in the same scene. Another rarity is that she only wears the school girl or girl guide uniform. No fashion parade for Brigitte in this show.
Of special mention, according to Stanley, in the famous scene when Brigitte Lin swims across the river under very cold conditions, she actually only started to learn to swim just for this role.

in brotherhood it is very touching,in eight hundred heroes is all patriotic girls[like us] so it is quite relevant.... but only one main character

i think about the shrek book right, hanissa might be able to get it and i think if forced, there can be literary value to the movie/book Shrek..2.. erm. all philosophers should know. we watched the movie and discovered alot of figurative meanings of the different parts of the movie which were very meaningful, so.. i was thinking if we could appeal to the judges and show them the book.. then... i dunno lar.

hey hey hey it's me again[trish]viven as you were asking there are two meanings to BFA one is Best Friends Always and the other is a bad which i always use to scold the boys Bloody F****** Asshole you should know the word in the middle i am not trying to teach you peps bad words but trying to let you all know the positve and negative meaning of BFA.

another i wanna say is that whoever the cuiprit is that person must be very upset of the class and let's try to treat everyone fairly so that the culprit will not feel[ i not trying to say that everyone should attract attention if you are upset about the class]if you really have the grievances that you must tell, tell the chairs or someone you think who can help you. dun be like a gasy bottle which is gonna explode anytime.
to the culprit: you might want to write an anynomous note in the blog or anywhere else to apologise to everyone and you can keep your identity. i can vouch that even if you admit it yourself others will still forgive you so whynot??]if you really dun want to apologise then you keep the class very wary of others which i dun want to see that in class and the whole class will still know who you are and at that time you will be in deep scathlogy, you might as well just apologise to the class and everyone will still be friends forever!!

I found out that people started asking do we have to bring worksheet for the Farm Visit....
The answer is....YES!!!!!! So I decided to make an announcement about it here again~
I understand that we all have short memories....can everyone remember the worksheet distributed in a morning somewhere last week? And we were told to keep it and bring it for the farm visit right?...= =" It has 'Farm visit' stated at the top left hand coorner.
It is a VERY IMPORTANT worksheet to bring on the visit!
And we are suppose to keep it till the 3rd term's geography lesson.
Sorry that I didn't mention that on the last annoucement (90 degree bow).Thank you people who came to ask me about that. :D
